Leadership
Nancy Lollman LSCSW, LCAC, KCGCII
Executive Director – nancy@newdawnrecovery.org
Nancy has been working in the treatment field for 30+ years. Establishing New Dawn in 2004, she was the sole clinician practicing from a single office. Nancy now directs a facility with 15 staff members and 4 group rooms. Nancy opened New Dawn after seeing a need in the community for a compassionate treatment facility. She strives to continue providing a professional and progressive treatment facility for years to come.
Rick Anson KCPM

Rick joined our treatment team as a Peer Mentor in 2012. Rick interned in 2011 and moved up to program director in 2019. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and recently celebrated 14 years in recovery. Rick has a deep passion and understanding for working with people that suffer from addiction and the trials they face.

Yvonne Bailey-Banks MFT, LCAC, KCGC, CGCS

Yvonne joined our treatment team in 2009. In addition to adult addiction counseling, she specializes in adolescent, gambling, and grief counseling. Her personal philosophy involves helping others and making life positive and fulfilling. Yvonne strives to expand her expertise, contribute to society, and learn new skills. She has diverse life experiences of working in political activism, to pastoring, to being a laborer, all prior to entering the treatment field in 2009.
Diana Pennington PsyD, LAC

Diana joined our treatment team in 2010. She studied psychology at Ryokan College in Los Angeles and has worked in the treatment field for 24 years. Diana is passionate in offering clients hope and authenticity in their recovery. She is celebrating 25 years in recovery and understands what is like to be a client, a person in recovery, and a productive member of society. Diana currently facilitates our Level 2 group and a Level 1 group.
Brian Smith LBSW, LAC

Brian joined our treatment team in 2016 after completing his internship at New Dawn and graduating from Washburn University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work. Brian is passionate about helping clients move forward in their recovery and out of the chaos of their addiction. Brian currently facilitates our Level 1 Men’s treatment group.
Liz Driver LAC, KCPM, PCCM

Liz joined our treatment team as a receptionist in 2016. She later obtained her Peer Mentor certification in 2017 and T-LAC in 2020. Liz is celebrating 22 years of recovery. She is passionate about providing empathy and compassion to others and knows recovery is possible with the right support and changes.
Cal Phoenix LAC, KCPM

Cal joined our treatment team in 2017 as a certified peer mentor and office assistant. Having achieved dual degrees in English and Sociology, she later returned to college and obtained her licensure in addiction counseling in 2021. Cal is a published author and continues to participate in the literary community. Cal has been in recovery since April 23, 2014.
Krista Spencer LAC, KCPM

Krista began her internship with us in August 2021 and joined our team as a Certified Peer Mentor that following November. After graduating from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and certificate in Addiction Counseling, Krista joined our team full-time as a counselor. Krista is also certified in grant writing and works to secure funding for our treatment programs. Krista is passionate about working with clients to conquer all the road bumps and detours that come with the road to recovery.

Tania Sudduth BA, MASM

Tania joined our treatment team in 2017 as a receptionist and moved up to Office Manager by 2018. Tania graduated from Iliff School of Theology in 2007 with a Master of Arts in Specialized Ministry.
